A Study of Paul's Letter to the Galatians

Freedom is something we as a society hold very dear. In fact for many if not most freedom is our most cherished value. We have fought, bled and died for it for centuries. Yet, how often do we still fill trapped, enslaved to forces beyond our control? While political freedom is a blessing, there are things enslaving us far more powerful than governments or armies. In fact, our harshest overload, robbing of daily of the joy of freedom, is ourselves. In Paul's letter to the Christians in Galatia he challenges them not to turn back to the slavery that use to bind them, but to hold on to the freedom they had found in Jesus. Are you looking for freedom in your life? Join us January 28 to February 18 as we search for the key that will break us free from all the things that shackle us and open up a world of true freedom in our lives.

Upcoming Sermons:

  • January 28 - "Fake Good News"  The world constantly tries to tell us what we need to truly be happy and to truly be free. Unfortunately, it's seldom telling the truth.
  • February 4 - Guest Speaker*
  • February 11 - "Faith verses Law" What's the difference between life by faith and life by law? What difference does faith really make? How can I tell which way I'm trying to live?
  • February 18 - "The Spirit verse the World" The real difference in the Christian life, and the true source of the incredible freedom we find in Jesus, a freedom that conquers all the powers that try to chain us, is the power of the Spirit of God at work in a Christians life. Too bad many of us ignore the Spirit and fail to follow him into the freedom he wants to give us.
  • February 25 - "New Life an New Creation" When fully embraced and lived Christian life transcends everything we see to lead us to a new life lived in a new creation. And for those living by faith, we don't have to wait, that new life starts now.
